A new app update is available for AbaClock 3. In the coming days, version 1.1.8 can be installed via the corresponding function in the AbaClock Monitor. The following 3 changes are included in this version:
New features:
Homescreen Quick Actions: with the new version, it is possible to go directly to the AbaClock settings or send the diagnostic data to Abacus Support by tapping and holding the app icon.
Resubmission of time stamps that could not be processed by Abacus during an update.
During an Abacus update, if the client was previously blocked, time stamps were discarded with error code 403. These will now be saved on the AbaClock and synchronised after a successful transmission by an employee.
It will also attempt to do this automatically for 7 days and can be triggered manually by restarting the AbaClock.
Other: Additions to missing translations and Tooltips. Enhancements to the Logger to find faulty views or inactive buttons.
Bugfix:
If the service type access protection was active, it was not possible to use the "Leave with absence" function. After the update, this is now correctly checked by AbaClock and offered to the user.

If the action is executed immediately without prompting, the administrator can no longer open the settings.

AbaClock Face:
AbaClock Face can now also be used when there is no NFC reader connected. However, this is only possible with face recognition. If the reader is no longer connected, only a new warning message appears: "Stamping currently only possible with face recognition".
This means that stamping is also possible during a power interruption with face recognition as long as the iPad has battery power.
Monitoring:
We have also revised a lot of things in Monitoring, and you may have already seen these changes:
You can now check whether the latest version has been correctly downloaded to the iPad for updating or whether there is still a managed version on the iPad. The following new action is now available in Monitoring for this purpose:
Check iOS update availability
The iPadOS version that is available for download and installation is now displayed:
The progress is also displayed again during the download.
In addition, there is now the option to be notified of new information on AbaClock updates via Monitoring function if you have activated the notification function and provided an email address and/or Telegram chat ID.
Apps that are no longer required can now also be deleted remotely via Monitoring; you will now find a delete button next to the app name:
